Day 27 August 1 Hitchup RV Park Haines, AK to Cottonwood RV, Destruction Bay, YT

To continue the theme, John snapped this picture at 5:00 a.m.  Notice how bright and high the sun is already.

As we drove out of Haines, a mother grizzly bear and two cubs crossed the road in front of our car and started running.   Unfortunately, you have to imagine the two cubs running in front of the guardrail.   It was amazing how fast they could move.

Here is yet another bakery that John  and  Don found.  This place was in the middle of a very small community, yet this bakery was big enough for    That many people driving through, we guess.

Dallas….and it was busy.

This was the view from across the road from the bakery.   Every moment gives a view better than the next.

Karen could not resist having her picture taken by this sign post.

Here is the group struggling though another meal at the side of a pristine lake with snowcapped mountains.   We are trying to make do.

Taking some time to work on this blog.  If we ever get a WIFI connection, it will get uploaded.

Here is a shot from inside the trailer.   If you look carefully out our back window you see why we loved this RV park.
