To continue the theme, John snapped this picture at 5:00
a.m. Notice how bright and high the sun
is already.
As we drove out of Haines, a mother grizzly bear and two
cubs crossed the road in front of our car and started running. Unfortunately, you have to imagine the two
cubs running in front of the guardrail.
It was amazing how fast they could move.
Here is yet another bakery that John and
Don found. This place was in the
middle of a very small community, yet this bakery was big enough for That many people driving
through, we guess.

of a pristine lake with snowcapped mountains.
