Day 5 Ft. Collins CO to Garryowen MT

Well off to Montana.   We had a great time in Fr. Collins, but we have to move on.  As mentioned earlier in the blog, we will be traveling with two other couples.   Sheridan is where we are meeting up with our friends Don & Barb from Madison.   We are spending the night at 7th Ranch RV Camp which is just south of the site of Custer's Last Stand along the Little Bighorn.  We are guessing that the 7th in the name comes from the 7th Cavalry that was under Custer's command.

Karen measures camping sites by the number of trees she can have around her.   So far she has been very frustrated.   Here is our site.   We have one of the very few trees.

Here are our trend's the Shower's rig.   Notice that they too have one lonely tree to hide under.  Shade was at a premium as the sun is quite hot.   We even got to run our little air conditioner a few minutes after the sun went down.

Speaking of the sun going down, this was the view from our camping site in the evening...tough life

Tomorrow, on to Townsend, MT.
